At H.I.S. Wellness Center, we utilize a technique called Electrodermal Screening to gather insights into your health concerns. We use this information to locate the underlying causes of the symptoms you are experiencing. Because symptoms are the body's warning signs that something is wrong, rather than covering them up, our goal is to help you uncover what your body is trying to tell you. "What is Electrodermal Screening?"
Electrodermal Screening (EDS) is a method that evaluates the body's energetic balance using a technique where a device gauges electrical skin resistance as specific frequency patterns are introduced to the body.
While EDS measures skin conductivity, practitioners interpret the results to gain insights into the energetic status of different organs and systems. Notably, EDS does not medically diagnose health issues but rather is used to identify potential areas of energetic disharmony.
The process is completely non-invasive and involves no discomfort. The probe touches the skin, but this is a gentle contact without any pain, making EDS a particularly attractive option for those looking for a non-intrusive form of assessment. No needles and no bloodwork are necessary.
Revealing Hidden Stressors
Your body will be scanned against thousands of things that can be causing health issues, items such as:
- Toxins
- Pathogens
- Emotional Stressors
- Nutritional Deficiencies
- Food Sensitivities
- Hormone Imbalances
While this is not an exhaustive list, it is meant to give you an idea of the items that will be scanned for indications of why you are having the symptoms you are experiencing.
Your First Visit
When you sign up for the health evaluation, your first scan will include the following:
- Comprehensive Scan -- This is the base scan and is the most important in providing information on what body systems may be out of balance.
- Information Scan -- This scan gives insight to possible hormonal imbalances, mental/emotional stress, vitamin/mineral deficiencies and more!
- Targeted Body System Scans -- Additional body system specific scans are run, as needed, to target specific areas for more information.
- Food Sensitivity Scan -- This scan provides information regarding any food items that may be hindering your body's healing process.
- Prescription Support Review -- You'll bring in any medications you are currently taking, and we will check to see if any vitamins or minerals are being depleted from your body from the prescription medications you may be taking, and providing support to your body.
- Supplement Testing -- Any supplements you are currently taking on a regular basis, you will bring in and we will test to make sure they are beneficial to your body.
- General Support Scan -- What items can your body benefit from? These could be individual vitamin supplements, or a multi-vitamin that combines multiple items into one.
Once all of this is complete, you will get a custom report specific for the results for your body. This report will contain the details that will help you have an understanding of the indicated underlying issues and a custom protocol specific to your body's needs.
Getting Started
If you are ready to get started on your journey to health, here is the simple process:
Get your FREE 15-minute Discovery Session: During this session, we'll discuss your specific needs, answer any questions you have, and explain how our services can help you achieve your health goals.
Discuss and arrange for sample testing: After the Discovery Session, we'll talk about the sample testing option, which allows us to assist you regardless of your location. This means you don't need to be nearby to participate—we can accommodate both local and remote clients.
Receive your test kit and intake form: Depending on your location:
- If you're in the local area, you can stop by our office to pick up the test kit and intake form at a convenient time.
- If you're not in the area, we'll mail the test kit and intake form directly to you.
Complete and return the test kit: Once you have the kit, follow the included instructions to complete the samples and fill out the intake form. Then, return it to us:
- If you're local, you can drop it off at our office.
- If you're not local, simply mail it back using the provided shipping materials.
We process your samples and run the scans: After we receive your returned kit, we will handle the scanning and analysis. This step is done behind the scenes, so you won't need to wait around—saving you from spending 60-90 minutes in the office during the process.
Schedule and review your results: Once the scans are complete, we'll contact you to set up a dedicated session to go over your results. If you're local, this can be an in-person visit; if you're not, we can go over the results in a phone call.
